Shetland Sheep Jersey Wool from sheep living in the Shetland Islands, north of Scotland, is used. The wool is thick and soft, and the sliver knit makes it very lightweight even though it is bulky and meaty. The jacket, which usually has a heavy image of melton and leather, is made lighter by changing the material to a combination of compressed cut and sewn material and man-made leather. By removing one important element from such a highly symbolic item, and by using URU TOKYO's unique clean pattern instead of the so-called "American casual" pattern, we succeeded in creating a varcity jacket seen from a different aspect.
