About the product

This fabric combines raw silk with a cotton backing to eliminate the characteristic drape of raw silk while retaining its smooth texture.

Due to the nature of the fabric, prominent slubs may appear, and fibers of different colors from the base fabric (foreign threads) may be mixed in. The uneven dyeing effect is intentionally created. Slubs tend to become less noticeable with repeated washing.
