About the product

This overcoat is based on traditional European workwear, reimagined with a relaxed, mid-length silhouette.

The fabric is a high-density, lightweight cotton-linen blend inspired by Ventile cloth.
It is treated with YAECA’s original oil—infused lightly with a resin that is harmless to both the body and the environment—resulting in a finish that avoids the stickiness typical of oiled garments, making it ideal for everyday wear.

The interior features a full lining of textured cotton fabric, while the collar and sleeve linings are accented with corduroy for a subtle yet distinctive touch.

Launched in 2002. The designers are Tetsuhiro Hattori and Kyoko Ide.
YAECA gives form to "inevitably simple" designs that are created by looking at the environment, looking at our lives, and looking at our relationships with our surroundings, just as we create daily necessities that we use unconsciously in our daily lives. We would like to create products that are not transient in the process of production, but are conscious of their role as standard daily wear.
