About the product

A shirt that anyone can wear — comfortable, effortless, and easy to throw on.
The Comfort Shirt was created with the vision of a shirt for adults that feels just right in everyday life.

The Standard Long features a moderately compact body width, while gussets under the arms allow for ease of movement. Snap buttons make it easy to put on and take off, and pockets on both sides add functionality. The slightly longer length provides a reassuring sense of coverage.

The fabric is “Parachute,” woven in India using Indian cotton. It is lightweight, thin, and supple, with a soft touch against the skin. Between the colored threads, white threads subtly appear and disappear, as if brushed across the surface with a paintbrush.

Launched in 2002. The designers are Tetsuhiro Hattori and Kyoko Ide.
YAECA gives form to "inevitably simple" designs that are created by looking at the environment, looking at our lives, and looking at our relationships with our surroundings, just as we create daily necessities that we use unconsciously in our daily lives. We would like to create products that are not transient in the process of production, but are conscious of their role as standard daily wear.
