About the product

Based on the field trousers worn by the U.S. military in 1951, we've reinterpreted them into a pair that adults can wear in a relaxed and comfortable way.

The fabric is a lightweight, shirt-like material made from fine-count cotton woven densely. It’s thin, light, crisp, and smooth to the touch.

Drawstrings are featured at the hems, along with leg ties that can be stored in the side pockets. The waist is adjustable with side tabs for a comfortable fit.

Launched in 2002. The designers are Tetsuhiro Hattori and Kyoko Ide.
YAECA gives form to "inevitably simple" designs that are created by looking at the environment, looking at our lives, and looking at our relationships with our surroundings, just as we create daily necessities that we use unconsciously in our daily lives. We would like to create products that are not transient in the process of production, but are conscious of their role as standard daily wear.
